Big was my supprise this morning when i checkin to the companys Mailsweeper server to see that there was 4294967296 incoming connections to this server, yes it is a GUI error there was only 8 connections and a reboot of the server fix this.
This is also a old mailsweeper v5.0 that i am in the process of replacing with a new one soon.

MSWclamDscan will be delayed abit..
6 July 2009 23:20
The plug-in is working fine and very stable with so fare no issues and i am in the process setting up the plug-in at work where we have to Debian Linux servers with ClamD install and they are running on top of a ESX server and then there is one Mailsweeper server with the plug-in and it is config to use both ClamD server, i am surprised for how good it is running and how little computer power it needs to scan the mails.

Now to the delay, the ClamAV team has made a new protocol for interfacing with the ClamD server from a ClamD client and this has happen in ClamAV Version 0.95.1 and it states that the protocol that i am using now will be removed in a later version some day, so as i was just thinking "ahh the plug-in is soon finish"...... no I have now to start over with a new protocol for it, but the good part is that it is simpler and i can reuse most code and have my plug-in to support both protocols and just let it be a option in the GUI to select what protocol version to use.

So the MSWclamDscan will maybe go back to a Beta release and then there will later on be a Re-Release-Candidate
